HotelFit privacy policy

HotelFit has no account, ads, tracking or analytics SDK. It works completely offline and does not send anything about you or your workouts to Pensive Frog Games or anyone else.

What stays on your device

Your workouts (when, how long, the moves and reps done, the intensity, how it felt and, if you turn it on, the city), your reminders and your settings are saved on your device. The app also keeps up to 7 daily backup copies in its own storage on the same device. There is no server. Device backups, such as iCloud Backup or Google backup, may include app data according to your device settings. Deleting the app removes its local data.

Location

If you turn on "City of each workout", the app reads your device's location when a workout ends and matches it, on your device, against a list of towns built into the app (from GeoNames). Your location is never sent anywhere. Only the town's name and the position rounded to about 1 km are saved in your log, and you can edit or delete them. You can turn this off at any time in the app's Settings or in your device's settings.

Apple Health

If you turn on "Save to Apple Health", each workout you finish is written to Apple Health on your device as a strength-training workout. The app never reads anything from Apple Health. Data in Apple Health is kept by Apple under its own privacy terms; Pensive Frog Games never receives it, never uses it for advertising and never sells it.

The trainer's voice

The voice that guides your workout is your device's own text-to-speech, made on your device. The app never uses your microphone.

What leaves your device

Nothing, unless you choose to export your log. An export goes only where you send it from the share sheet. Reminders are scheduled on your device; no push server is used.

Purchases

HotelFit is free for your first 14 workouts, and one in-app purchase unlocks more. The App Store or Google Play handles that purchase and your payment details. The app only learns, on your device, whether the purchase was made. Apple and Google handle purchases under their own privacy policies.

Exercise safely

HotelFit guides general bodyweight exercise. It does not give medical advice. Check with your doctor before starting a new exercise routine, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.

Apple may provide TestFlight feedback and diagnostic information under its own privacy terms and your choices.

If you email support, Pensive Frog Games receives the information you choose to send and keeps it only as needed to answer you. Contact support@pensivefrog.games to request deletion of support correspondence.

The online policy describes the current release. Any change to what the app collects will require an updated policy before it is introduced.
